Back in the good old days before we actually launched, we put up a teaser site to give you good folks a preview of what was to come. Lots of things were different back then, let me tell you! Did you know that the Insanely Great Tees logo used to be red? It’s true! Then one day I ran up to Dave’s computer and announced that there was a new logo and it was green (we already had a red logo in our family of businesses and we wouldn’t want to confuse ourselves!)
But I digress. In the old days, there were some different shirts on the site! Back then, the Heart shirt was going to be printed pink on red for maximum girl power, but we came to our senses about that one. And then there was the shirt that never got printed! For example, the I’m a Mac shirt, which at the last minute was replaced by the Eraser shirt in the lineup. Tough decisions! In fact, we’d already ordered the blue shirts for “I’m a Mac”, which we wound up using for RetroFuturism. RetroFuturism was supposed to go on the dark teal shirt that we wound up using for Magic Eraser. The whole thing was like musical chairs but with artwork!
The plot thickens though – we’d already shown the world the wonders of the “I’m a Mac” shirt! And lo an behold, people remembered. They even emailed us. So it begs the question, where is “I’m a Mac”? Should we bring it back? We’re already deep into planning the second wave of designs and it’s quite possible that if you’d like to see “I’m a Mac” then we can make it happen.
